Hoje rapidinho com a interessante coletânea de bandas/hits do início dos anos oitenta que eu achei no One Too Many Morning, e que agora compartilho com vocês.
À exceção dos já macacos velhos David Bowie, Peter Gabriel e Kate Bush, que por isso mesmo, meio que destoam na coletânea, todos estavam tinindo de novos, inclusive Robert Smith, do The Cure, com cara de menino na capa.
O disco é bem eclético e para gostos variados, tem dos americanos Talking Heads, a XTC (que fim levou?) e Pretenders. Destaque para os hits do Echo e The Bunnymen (The Killing Moon), Talking Heads (Once on a Lifetime) e The Smiths (William, It Was Really Nothing). Mas cá pra nós, o disco vale mesmo é pelo clássico supremo That’s Entertainment, do Jam, que eu não ouvia faz um tempão. Quem viveu....
